A true Southern girl at heart, Kathy was born into a large extended family in Tennessee. Raised on the notion of Southern hospitality as a way of life, she grew up in an environment where large social gatherings and entertaining went hand-in-hand.
Carrying her love for entertaining through her formative school years, she fell in love with home economics but soon discovered her passion for business when she attended The Ohio State University. Majoring in Business Administration and Marketing, Kathy graduated with her bachelor’s degree and a full heart—having met and fallen in love with her husband Dave while attending The OSU. Shortly after college, Kathy and Dave married and standing the test of time—have recently celebrated 36 wonderful years together.
An amazing mother to two grown children— her newest endeavor has her enjoying the role of a doting grandmother to her boy/girl twin grandchildren. There is never a dull moment, and she wouldn’t have it any other way!
With a desire to stay connected to the community in which she lives and works, Kathy is heavily involved in supporting and working with local charities and humanitarian interests abroad. Her heart is pulled to Kenya, where Kathy and Dave support an orphanage and a pupil whom they have lovingly supported through university and consider part of their family.
In her downtime, you can find Kathy enjoying the night sky with her husband and a glass of wine, playing with her grandkids, or knitting.
