Maddie Douglas

Event Coordinator

Hometown: Tempe, Arizona

Born and Raised in the Valley of the Sun, with a love for travel and snowboarding, Maddie is an ASU grad who thrives on being busy and loves creating calm out of the chaos of events. Her high school years of planning dances and Mother-Daughter Retreats fed into the busyness of her college years, where she carried a course load of 21 credits while working 3 jobs. As if that’s not enough to keep someone busy, Maddie also held an executive position in her sorority, ultimately graduated Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the W.P. Carey School of Business and a Minor in Media Analysis from Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

If asked what gives her energy, Maddie refers to her love of people and creating memorable activities and experiences that make people happy. As Service Director in her sorority, Maddie put on a Dodge Ball Event where Kappa Alpha Theta raised over $14,000 for their national charity, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). She was honored to be a member of the Wings Mobile Marketing Team at Red Bull, where she assisted with planning large events and campaigns for Red Bull sponsored events, such as Neymar, Waste Management Open, and Phoenix Drop-In. Most recently, she worked in Uber’s Corporate office, on the only Special Projects Operations Team in the county, that creates, manages, and studies customer outreach experiments to keep drivers engaged & happy across the USA.

When she gets a little room in her schedule to breathe, there’s only one thing on her mind: brunch. Savory benedicts and a little sweetness of waffles get her in the best mood for a day off of online shopping, exploring social media trends, and yoga. Always dreaming of her next trip, she likes to travel with her family and friends, citing Dubai, Barcelona, Bahamas, and Costa Rica as some of the coolest places she’s been. Whether it’s the ease of a small gathering or a fast-paced product launch, Maddie has the energy, hunger and passion to see it through.
